Craftsmanship

A worker cut the leather for the upper by hand.

STEP 01

Pattern Cutting & Clicking

Our highly-skilled craftsmen first make paper patterns with your chosen or custom shoe styles. The patterns are later used as a guide to cut leather. We then trim the edges to make the junctions flush, ensuring the whole upper has smooth touch.

STEP 02

Assembling the Upper

Next up, through stitching or gluing, we assemble the pieces of leather we cut before together carefully by our specialized shoemakers. Linings and trimmings are then attached to the upper according to the design drawing of your project.

STEP 03

Lasting

To ensure the leather better molded to the precise shape of the last, we place the upper into an oven to adjust the leather moisture. Then, we pull the upper over a shoe last and fit it with the last properly with a stretching machine.

STEP 04

Bottoming

Using high-class thread and adhesive, our artisans precisely stitch and glue uppers and soles together. With a sturdy structure, our shoes gain higher durability.

STEP 05

Finishing

Through trimming the edge of the sole and final polishing, we endow the shoes with an elegant appearance. An insole will be added for comfort improvement.
